45379 has been taken off the NNR event. I assume these repairs will be done in time for the Battlefield gala though?

    Are you sure Kieran?

She's still shown as attending North Norfolk Railway - Steam Galas, or is it a case of the website not being updated? :noidea: I mean, why post the announcement on here and NOT update the website?

21B obviously knows more than us mere mortals, so I'm inclined to believe him and 45379 WILL be having a 'holiday' by the sea.................................

Yes i am sure. The NNR gala organiser frequently posts on the NNR's facebook page and has confirmed this and i doubt very much he would be making it up. They are trying to source another visitor. So in the unlikely event the decision has been changed again the information 21B wrote is out of date. Remember not all railway websites are updated as often as others....

NNR whats running page doesn't list it for the gala and lists the 31 as running. I'm still clinging on to the hope that Mark will find something!

    Fair enough.

Don't you just love speculation :D

Any way, BACK to the MHR gala, with or without 45379 - it'll be strange not seeing her running about.......... can't believe that she's already two years through her ticket................... Still fingers crossed that 825 & 5322 both face out of Alresford!.......................................

    Simon,

Just out of interest when a loco arrives at the railway who makes the final decision which way round a loco will be.

    Thanks

I was up at Ropley/Alresford this morning and there was no sign of either. Two Mk1s were sat in the cattle dock, with 50027, 33053 and 12049 all up at Ropley.

I also saw Cheltenham this morning, and thought she looked superb, complete with Hogwarts (POTTERY CLASS!) nameplates :D Will post a pic if my phone decides to play ball :p

I wondered just how long it would take them to apply that name.............................................. :becky:

I'm hoping that at least 825 turns up tomorrow (both would be nice) as I may pop into Ropley Saturday morning before going and spending the day at Medstead driving a paint brush ad listening to coalwagon's ever depleted repertoire of bad jokes........................................... if your about come and say hello, always nice to put a face to a name :D

Surely 825 and 5322 will arrive sometime next week. That's the usual scenario for visiting gala locos.

Brilliant :D.I must say I've been loving the humour on 925 such as it being called St Trinians the other day and now Hogwarts.

There was a second nameplate on the other side which I am a little sceptical to reveal on a forum, where there may be Portsmouth FC fans around!

I think there are a few Saints fans in the Ropley crew!

PS. If you can't read it, it reads 'Fratton Park - Skate class'

I apologise if this offends anyone, THEY made me do it! :D:D
