After 48 hours of phone calls and discussions and with the phenomenal support of all those involved we have a plan to move 60009 from York to Shildon to reunite her with 60008 and 60010 and stage the ultimate BR A4 line up

There will be two evenings of photo shoots with all monies raised covering the movement costs of 60009 . If we pull this off the line up of 60008 , 60009 and 60010 will only be available to participants . The loco's will be on site at Shildon but not posed all together , during public hours

60010 will be repainted into LNER Garter Blue after her display period at Shildon ends so this is a once in a lifetime moment

To cover the costs each evening will cost £60 per person with limited places being available . After dark will be a floodlit nightshoot of the three together

In view of the short time available I need absolute cast iron commitments to attend this weekend and cheques in the weekends post please. In the event of it not happening no cheques will cashed and all will destroyed or returned

As an extra carrot if I can raise sufficient there is also the potential of 60007 as well

Please PM me if you would like full details or visit the yahoo group below

For the complete BR A4 experience why not include No. 7? OK it's blue ratherthan green but still in BR livery, plus it would line up 7, 8, 9 AND 10 all together...

    Just a thought... :)

I think martins trying really hard to get enough to cover the costs of 60009 first, but if enough people are interested I heard its a possibility.

    Read Martin's posting especially :

Simple choice made clear; If you want it - you pay for it - you get it.

I've made my commitment - as have many others - and we're now waiting to see if interest (and funds) are enough to provide a "dream" line-up.

We are well short of funds for the costs of 60007 so this won't happen sadly

Gutted for the failure despite the efforts you've made to achieve success and commiserations to you; you're efforts are greatly appreciated and - at least - we can savour the triple line-up on Friday and Saturday night when even the weather prospects are currently looking good.
