    Ron, I hope you don't mind me asking but what make of slide scanner have you used? You seem to have some excellent results and I would like to start on digitizing my 8000+ slides hence the question. Thanks Ray.

    It's an Epson Perfection 4990, far better than the HP Scanjet that I used to use. Some of my old Scanjet ones are still on flickr but, over time, I shall re-scan them with the Epson and replace them.
