Not sure this is the right forum to ask this, but has anyone who was booked on the Cancelled Nov 4th Railmotor trips And was unable to transfer to the 11th or the 18th managed to get a refund or at least any kind of responce to requests for a refund.
As some friends of mine have so far have only had a odd message left on the there voicemail & then cut off mid sentence from tickettweb, & no respones to the email sent to the GWS.

Full refunds were available but I don't know if they still are now. I don't know why you didn't get a response from the GWS - I got a very swift response and they did all they could to help.

No I do not currently volunteer
My ticket for the 18th didn't show up, so, as per Ticketweb's confirmation email, I emailed them 3 days before, i.e. on the 15th. I got a response on the morning of the 18th saying they had cancelled my original ticket and there would be another available to collect at the venue that evening. I assume that was a standard reply for concert tickets, not much use when you're booked on the 14.30! I showed my confirmation email to the guy on the train, and he said he'd seen a few of them due to problems with Ticketweb.

Yes I am an active volunteer
I was booked on the 4th and Didcot couldn't have been more helpful in switching my party's booking to the 11th as luckily there were a few places still available.

the latest on this it than after sending an email to both ticketweb & the GWS expressing there displeasure at the lack of response to there request for a refund.
they received a telephone call tuesday evening from someone from the GWS espressing there apologies & said that they have instructed Ticketweb to issue a full refund.
