My footage from yesterday's run, taken at Ashbury Crossing near Shrivenham and at Swindon Station.

    Enjoy.

I give up - can't find it, which bit of the photoshop is wrong compared to the real thing?

No lining on the cylinder lagging?

There's two. The cylinder cover is lined whereas the photoshop isn't and the running plate is painted blue lined with white where as the photoshop is just black and not lined although the bit of plate attached to the bufferbeam isn't lined.

    She looks fantastic.

Thank you for the explanation, I guessed the running plate but not the other! Lovely livery, really suits her I think. Is it back to Apple Green after this?

Thanks for that, I saw the cylinder cladding immediately after pressing 'Post reply', but the running boards eluded me

Arguably three as there is no shed allocation painted on the buffer beam - something she's got now.

Oh yeah. There was time when the photoshop came out that I thought the running plate was black but after a bit of looking realised it was blue and white lined.

Got to try and find a day where I can go see her. July 5th is a bit too far away to wait and see her in my hometown for the first time.

Tornado looked fabulous at a very soggy Shrewsbury last night, blue really suits her.

I don't normally join in on livery discussions, I'm just happy we've got the locos, (my PREFERENCE is Brunswick Green), but credit to all concerned, Tornado in Blue is the dogs dangly bits. It looks wonderful.

Took some very non-railway friends (and godson) to see Brittania at Shrewsbury on Saturday, and were rewarded by Tornado trundling through the platforms just beforehand. Cue three very excited small people pleased to see "Gordon" on the mainline, plus a dozen friends all very taken with the spectacle of Brittania ("Henry") so close up and loud at the station. There's something very special about seeing these big engines away from a preserved branchline.

A couple of video snaps from today's run to Bristol, seen in the mid-afternoon sun at Crofton.
