Who needs sun when you have snow? Brilliant time was had on the East Lancs on Saturday, congrats to everyone involved! Cannot wait for February now.

Well I couldn't compete with Saturday's excellent lineside photos and videos so I took a whole line trip behind Braunton on Sunday. I'm afraid it's 20 minutes long, the weather wasn't very kind (plenty of sleet and fine snow) and there was a lot of drifting exhaust and drain cock steam - so you have been warned!!

Lewis where did you get this shot from? I visited Burrs on the Sunday ended up with this:

Unfortunately due to weather in the Midlands I ended up arriving at Burrs around 9 AM, well after the runpasts had ended so I made my way back to Bury where I got this:

For those who missed Braunton this time, I understand it will be at the February Gala........

 

This was taken on the approach to Irwell Vale. There is a footpath from behind the station to here - it's part of the Sculpture trail.
