Think you're missing a trick here - you should be talking to the railway promoters about a possible food franchise. Maybe even convert part of the NIR dmu's into a mobile chippy? And then run the dmu's on the waste oil?

Oh, I'm on a roll here. "Chip-powered public transport" - you know it makes sense.

I'm surprised AR isn't bidding for those sparky boxes that are threatened with meeting their maker. I foresee another opportunity here to pimp up a pacer - operating push-pull on the SBR with an 86 sandwiched in the middle Well it can't be anymore difficult than importing Paddy's thumpers and regauging can it? :deadhorse:

 

Ok - run 'em on animal fat. Wouldn't they be able to get some sort of green/environmental/recycling money for that?
