    Read elsewhere (video captions on youtube) that 777 was failed at the GCR yesterday. Don't know how serious the problem is? Will she make it to the MHR? Lets hope she does...............

    The Black 5 was in steam last week for a boiler inspection according to the MHR Loco Shed news on Wednesday. Doesn't say anything about the outcome though..........

    I believe (so I've been told, reliably(?) ) it was a packing gland, so nothing too serious.

    Again from what I've been told, it was Thomas, and not 45379.

    So lets wait and see..........................................................
