According to RTT Day 9 is timed for 60mph. Presumably because it is not known whether a 75mph loco will be available.

I woulden't take the speed, tonnage and traction type as Gospel on RTT, just the timings really.

I think that is the case. There is no path after Salisbury, it appears it attaches to the GB6. I have a good friend on board, so will post if it attaches at Salisbury.

As I type, what ever it is has arrived at Victoria 22 early.........................................................

Hoping to get the Black 5s crossing into Cornwall later, does anyone know if the engineering works on the Royal Albert Bridge have finished, or is it still covered up?

Right time Woking. Held outside station for 0900 departures to Alton (platform 5) and Weymouth (platform 4). Hoped that she would be crossed at Byfleet and Newhall as booked on to the down fast for a speedy race through platform 4 but it was not to be.

Having said that Tangmere looked and sounded great accelerating through Woking station.

The diesel light engine passed on the down fast (how ironic) some minutes later.

I thought this Realtime trains info was supposed to be accurate. It did NOT pass through Platform 4 at Woking. It passed on the down slow on Platform 5 behind the down Alton service.

Like any other internet gen, it's only as accurate as the info that is added to it. <BJ>

Arrived and departed Winchfield water stop pretty much dead on time, looking very good.most of the stock appeared to be newly painted(not before time!).

47 diesel running light passed 5 mins before on fast line.

Thats a crying shame the 47 is going on the back at Salisbury. Why? Maybe lack of path to Exeter, don't think fire risk with the recent rain.
