So 45305 chuffs to the KWVR on the rails but then gets lugged off to Ilford on a low loader. It makes no sense!

If it is going for tyre turning, it will need its rods, etc removing and then replacing. It is probably easier to do this at Haworth than in deepest Essex. It would also need re-weighing before being re-certified for NR running; again something more easily accomplished at home base. I'm sure that the logistics, time and costs have all been carefully considered. The NYMR sends its NR registered locos there by road for the above reasons.

Facebook is a website. If there's a link and it's public, you don't have to be registered to see it.

    Eg

The link took me to a Facebook page with loads of drivel. Can't be arsed to trawl through it all to find on particular item.

Seemed more appropriate to link to a railway-related Facebook page than an individual's, but if you want to go straight to the photo in its original context, you can see it here.

No one is forcing you to.

But just because you have a particular preference it doesn't make it appropriate to copy someone else's material without their permission and host it somewhere else.

All people are asking for is a link to the pic for heaven's sake.
