Galatea is rumoured to be heading out on Saturday with an ecs movement to the Kings Lynn area for a private charter on Sunday, then returning on Monday.

Could anyone suggest any spots around Hellifield to film the return on Monday evening? Preferably to the south side before she arrives at the station. Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for the clip. it's still not exactly steam tight is it? I think that caution suggests to wait a few runs before venturing out with her. Nevertheless an immense task achieved and probably a labour of love.

That ECS is a wonderful mixture. What is the clerestory vehicle in the middle?

Some fabulous footage of 45699 thanks for braving the terrible weather in the north. Running 27 minutes down after leaving Retford on the ECML but what a sight and noise she made climbing Gamston Bank seen here from the foot crossing half way up .

Ok, how do they turn this lot at Kings Lynn (assuming its gone in Engine first) and then again at Ely to make it on to the Norwich line.

Edit. Its doing a run around at Ely. Means its coming out tender first from Kings Lynn I guess.

I think, run round at Ely, tender first to Kings Lynn, chimney first back to Ely in the morning, tender first to Norwich, chimney first to Lowestoft, tender first to Ipswich, then chimney first all the way back to Kings Lynn. Phew! Make sense?
