    As a bit of fun and a way of celebrating this very special year for Gresley's magnificent design I thought we could post up some of the best videos from YouTube showing A4's at speed. No doubt there will be some new videos of 4464 at 90mph from the three upcoming runs but here are some to kick off this thread starting with the recent 90mph test runs.     OMG!!! No wonder they were called Streaks!!!

    Well chosen clips and very entertaining.

    Chime whistles should have been obligatory fittings on all of our express locomotives, that soulful wail has so much presence and impact, especially compared to the asthmatic wheezing hooters that those those big Pacifics on the other side of the country where afflicted with. Thanks for this compendium of speed!!
