I really would like to see a video from Newark.. That was definitely the moment in History.
I suspect being north of Doncaster may not be so bad either.

Passed North Rd LC, 1125, mid 50's blowing off, accelerating.

There's a bit if an air of excitement now....or expectation.

It looks like two records are being set today. Bitterns 90mph+ and ADB for the number of posts in a thread in a day.:p

I hope someone was out with the video. It wold be marvellous to watch this. I'm really pleased that Bittern managed to touch 90, as after all, it was emphasised that it wasn't guaranteed. Sounds like you're having a great time, and I hope the rest of the trip is just as good.

I was on 5043's Cheltenham Flyer run, and thought this must surely be the railtour of the year. It certainly took some beating, but from your posts so far, it seems that 4464 has outshone even the magnificent Earl of Mount Edgcumbe.

You wouldn't want me to keep this to myself, would you ;-)

Looking forwards to seeing 46233 at York also. 4464 should be in the platform a little while after 46233 deps according to RTT.

Single yellow as we approach the junction with the Selby line, down to 40.

Red ahead...., dropped to single yellow, signal Y947, and red ahead beyond that...as we cross the junction.

Sounds like the old girl is doing steam proud racing up the ECML. Memorable day for everyone associated with such a high profile run, well done everyone for making it happen.

Also thanks ADB for running commentary today, from your posts I was very pleased to see she passed us at Langford at 90mph, something I never thought id be able to see in my lifetime.

Please see link to my shot from this morning at the foot crossing.
