Wonder if this is a foretaste of what is to happen to the Scarborough Flyers again this year?

BTW, anybody thinking of heading to Colton Junction or points east of York for this train should note that there is horse-racing in York on Saturday. This normally causes massive congestion on the A64 late morning/early afternoon - often back to Tadcaster.

IIRC Neil there was some busing between Huddersfield and Brighouse some time in the past to feed pax. onto a tour. Maybe that's the plan again.

    Hi Victor
That was last year due to the remodelling of Stalybridge Station, got this from RTC earlier this year

    Dear Mr Dimmer,

The steam train is picking up passengers at Huddersfield this year.

    Kind regards
