Stop bloody moaning. Same old tedious grizzling. Driver grinning? You can't even tell. Tour ran, no doubt the promoter was happy, 99% of the punters were happy, best of a bad situation. Put a sock in it.

Why have you decided to crawl out of the woodwork almost 24 hours down the line? I'll put a sock somewhere & it won't be pleasant.
Go & play with your Scalextric sets you must like judging by your username.
Notice another person who likes to have a dig "likes" your post, I think he has "been spoken" to as well.

I think you'll find from the majority of my posts that I don't like to have a "dig" Buseng, most of the time it's all positive and hopefully informative information when required and where possible.

Posts like yours, which in my opinion, was totally uncalled for and OTT considering the situation, especially when you know the facts as to why it's happening in plain black and white. You should therefore expect replies to which you may not like. Maybe a case of thinking before you post so you won't get the backlash/criticism you dislike, something we maybe should all consider from time to time, myself included before you pop that in!

Because I have a job to attend to, I don't spend hours trawling through internet forums looking for something to bellyache about, unlike you. About time someone 'spoke to' you as well, almost sounds like a threat you are flailing about with there!!

Nobody "spoke" to me, I'm talking about the person who "liked" your post. So when you do go online, why do you pick holes in old posts which are old hat & forgotten about.

Some posts here are highly amusing.
Sadly rules apply to the party.

Can we move on before someone develops heat stroke, noted it always happens when there's a lack of steam.

Leave it out, there's no need to have the last word. Anyway, back to the Torbay Express, 5029, chocolate and cream coaches, and a nice, green 47.

Agreed, it ran, it had steam involvement, and personally I thought the Castle + 47 double-header looked fantastic. It was something different and infinitely preferable to a) cancellation, b) a class 67 and particularly c) intolerant whining from either side of the divide some heritage rail enthusiasts insist on creating between steam and diesel. Same again this weekend?

The Torbay Express will run via Bath on both outward and return legs on 15th September .....hopefully as 100% steam.

Thanks to Mow for the tip off. <BJ>

Is that due to engineering work?

    News from Pathfinder. <BJ>

"The Torbay Express on 15 September will be a bit different as there is engineering work taking place that weekend between Uphill Junction and Bridgwater. This means that we are no longer able to pick-up or set down passengers at Weston-super-Mare. All the passengers joining at Weston-super-Mare have been contacted about the situation and letters are being sent advising passengers joining at Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton of the changes to the departure and return times."

Nunney Diesel away from Bristol on time. The diesel understandably working quite hard. The countryside
appears yellow where it's so tinder dry. Thunderstorms forecast for overnight and tomorrow morning. <BJ>
