Foxfield Railway Summer Steam Gala 20/21 July 2013

Indeed , but if you look at the railway in the round the duties of many members mean that they dont get to see the event, ie those based at Caverswall etc. For that reason members take a look at what went on afterwards via forums etc.

Thank you to all those who visited this year. Next years Summer Gala is now at the planning stage, we should have the Bayer, Bellerophon & perhaps Hawarden all back in action. The visitor - well I have a cracking idea, we shall have to see. Two Knotty coaches will also be in use, we shall have to have a think about operations but the use of the bay comes to mind with small engines running out - the rake will be a bit short at this stage and we need to consider capacity. Maybe a few outings pre booked - I wonder what people think ?.

My apologies - but on the assumption that the locomotive operated the normal cycle of freight from Foxfield to Dilhorne then passenger to Caverswall I had presumed that it would have been seen by most members on the day; for those who missed this I append
