Do my eyes deceive me or have west coast given their coaches a long overdue lick of paint? - the 47 and 57 that were in Cornwall a few weeks back looked even more rough than the coaching stock...

Apologies - I missed this one at www.uksteam.info - Too busy signalling trains at the WSR !
Does anyone have a link to the RTT data for this move ?
Unfortunately RTT doesn't provide a search facility for trains more than 24 hours in the past, although the data should still be available.

70013's Move Bristol > Southall WCR... Completely unexpectedly, singleton 57308 "DRS London on a Mission" (whatever that is) came through first with a squeak on the horn.

It looks like Cromwell may now only be going as far as Crewe today (UKS still showing Carnforth)! 5Z42 on the above link was showing Carnforth, but as of this morning it's showing Crewe as being the final destination & this is the path that's been activated for today. The other daily Southall to Carnforth path 5Z43 has not been activated!

Bother! I scheduled my afternoon around going to Winwick to see it! This would make sense though as 70013 is sheduled on the 15 Gn Special from Longsight in Manchester.

The strange this is that I was passing Southall late on Tuesday evening, on the way back from The Oval, and it looked like Ollie in the prep bay. We were going quite quickly and it was nearly dark but I wasn't dreaming!

Western 1015 was seen at Old Oak too.

Quite possible I guess. Looked like a Brit but it was a fleeting glimpse at speed.
