According to the A1 website 60163 will be there from Wednesday, when the triple headed move takes place isn't known yet, it could be Tuesday or Wednesday......... nothing showing on RTT as yet....................................... "AND" there's speculation on FB that 70000 may not be ready in time............................... we shall see, if she's out and about this weekend......................................

If it's the post I've replied to on FB, then it's Heritage Railway magazine getting their facts wrong... Something about 70000 not going on the ML until the new year was the comment I responded to.

Just one query - it says 45379 is facing country. I thought it faced London.

 

Still facing Alton on Sunday and also still showing facing Alton on the main web page. I would think it's an error on the timetable for the gala.

TBH I have no idea (does anybody????) there is a post by a certain Mr Temple on the MHR FB page (I think!) whether or not he's "stirring it" I have no idea, he may ahve just picked up about last weekend and put 2&2 together and made 5..................... all will be revealed next week when the convoy makes its way down!!

 

You wont get the loco allocations until they've arrived and they know which way they are facing!! So Wednesday perhaps........................

According to the RTC letter I got with the e-tickets for the Dartmouth Xpress this Saturday 19th the loco is to be 70000 so is all well with it now or has RTC got it wrong ?

Thanks to David at uksteam.info - 60163, 70000 and 34046 are (provisionally) making their way to the MHR on Tuesday next week.

Well, as I type, there's nothing on RTT for the 22nd.................................. and considering the Brit is supposed to be out and about on Saturday, the only movement out of Southall at the mo, is Ollie's move Ooop North tomorrow..................................................

 

i would like to confirm that 70000 britannia hauled the empty stock and diesel engine to poole for the dartmouth trip on saturday i would pursume after the tour the engine will return back to southall can anoye also help me with witch way in country and with way is london

 

On the MHR loco's smokebox first out of Alresford are facing LONDON, vis Loco's smokebox first out of Alton are facing COUNTRY.................. Hope that helps!
