I love how the orange jackets are straight on the camera phone.

And here it is after the water stop at Shalford. Track conditions were not good slipping would be the order of the day, but just listen to this perfect regulator control, not sure who was at the helm but it was the touch of a master.
Carry on listening till the end where the only middling slip occurred.

They are quite often out, or rather there are often Network Rail people out at that site.

The bridge was crowded, normally I have it to my self when Clan Line goes past.

Mmmm, excellent photos but HOW did you manage to post the 3 identical photos ( top three) but all with different smoke / steam effects ??? Really good position taken for the photo though....Pete

It's called magic, Pete.... ;) It was Ian's Halloween trick, only a day late! :p

Unless I'm mistaken, the train waits outside Victoria for a platform. :)

Looks like it was using Clan Line's support coach for some reason.
Edit, just realised it was mentioned earlier by Big Al.

Correct. I was hovering over Grosvenor Bank on my broom before I noticed that Braunton had stopped at the signal. Managed to take 39 photos, so may add a few to that set tomorrow. Was then delighted to hear a lovely celebration whistle as Braunton vanished from view and entered the station. About two minutes later a wonderful evening glow fell across the chimneys of Battersea Power Station, providing a magical backdrop. But as we owners of cameras / video cameras know, it rarely all falls into place when you want it to.

Edited to add: Have now added three more photos to that set.

Sometimes, just sometimes, stuff does not work out as planned.

At least it's authentic, unlike the lined brunswick green that had previously been applied to the coach.
