    Hello

I am British and live in the South of France and have recently joined the ATTCV Heritage Railway organisation, a non-profit association established in 1994 by a number of train enthusiasts. The association is endorsed by SNCF. Here's a link to the website (in English) so that you can see more

I'd love to hear from similar groups in the UK with a view to a 'twinning' perhaps.

    With best wishes

It's very nice to see the website of a French Heritage Railway prepared in the English language.

What is the track gauge, standard or metre gauge?

Many thanks for the comments. The track is standard gauge, European loading.

The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway would be very interested in "twinning". If you wish to follow up drop me a line at wirksworth_railway@wyvernrail.com

Many apologies Martin, I didn't see your message with the amended email address and to add to that the mail I just emailed was rejected 'your end'.... I will try again

    Kind regards

Incidentally David - are you aware of and/or already a member of the excellent (IMHO) SNCF Society in the UK - www.sncfsociety.org.uk

The railtrain.org/attcv website mentioned in David's first post no longer exists.
However, you'll find the same/similar information in English on ATTCV and the other heritage railway in Provence, i.e Train des Pignes, on Provence Heritage Railways,
