Some great clips in poor conditions Liam, I nearly didn't bother but it seemed a tad better further North

Thanks, fortunately the A4 was working nicely, otherwise it would of been a load of muffles

Thank you, glad i stuck it out in the end, as i really didn't have the appetite for it this morning. You managed a good shot as well and definitely seemed a lot calmer up North, not often you say that !

It was dark, wet & miserable this morning when I woke up and I very nearly stayed in bed. But as it's the last main line steam in the Peterborough area until March the Astra was fired up and driven to Harringworth. Here is the result. http://www.flickr.com/photos/68415577@N03/11478863114/ I wanted to try something a bit different rather than my usual shot from the Seaton Road so tried from the North East of Harringworth on the road to Wakerley. The light was on the right side (When the sun came through the clouds) but the wind blowing in the wrong direction. Luckily no 9 coasted over the viaduct with little or no smoke visible. Once off the viaduct the regulator was opened and no 9 disappeared behind a small cloud of smoke.
