A sight we won't be seeing at the gala! Bodin at the head of an Alton bound train! Taken this morning, Met No1 is in the cattle dock with the green Slug. A rather nice green CCT is behind this rake, hoping this will be attached to a service train for the gala. Belle/Countryman hybrid in the CAT siding, MK 1 Pullman leading, Umber BG at other end.

Anybody know when Blodders will be leaving the line? Would love to get one last shot of her before she moves on to pastures new.

Would love to see Sir Frederick moved into the workshops as a suitable like for like replacement but presume that this is a long way off.

A sad day seeing the lines former star leave but times change and the future is bright for the MHR with the home fleet growing.

Yep, is planned to use the same low loader that 4537is coming in on...I'm not around at all today or tomorrow so will probably miss the movement. Met tank has to be taken to Ropley firs, mind. Nothing moving up there yet...

Where is Bodmin going - anyone know, please? Sorry if already stated but I can't find any indication.

we can now start a new game, called guess the destination, i'm sure all will become clear in the next 36 hours, but im expecting her to land at Carnforth , be a shame to see her leave, but at least its now the end of a very bad time for everyone in this there has been no real winners.

Sorry to be blunt but a bit of patience wouldn't go a miss. As has already been said it is hard to give allocations when two of the locomotives have yet to arrive via the mainline.

Plus the Black Five is late coming back....should have been here by now! Which means that Bodmin is still in Alresford station (now platform 1) The U boat just popped into the cattle dock then straight back towards Ropley - presumably a test run.

There's an updated timetable on the web site, showing loco allocations for Alton departures, but not Alresford, yet....

Looking on the MHR web site the timetable has now been updated with loco rosters on it. According to the timetable 35028 and 34046 will be facing out of Alresford. I also see the only double heading will be 10.20 off Alton and the return working from Alresford leaving at 11.15 with 31806 & 850. The Met1 is only doing shuttles according to the timetable. Just hope the sun comes out over the gala.

That's for Sunday only at the mo!............................ and strangely, if you go to the MHR website, it doesn't show any allocations, but your link does, how odd.....

So Clan Line gets a nice lay over in the cattle dock each day, that should make a lot of people happy! good PR for the MNLPS too!

And the wagon tours at Medstead appear to be on a turn up and go basis.......

Now that is odd. I only clicked on the link from the web site. Unless they are going amend the timetable again? How odd.

Will 46 and 28 be double heading out of Alresford at 13,30? Both locos will be there at the time and Clan would of finished her footplate access.

    Controversial suggestion...
Provide loco allocations on the day, as tickets are bought.

I'm sure that's not what is happening, and that the roster is being held up to ensure all locos are available, but maybe it's something all lines should consider.
