Something which some readers might be interested in is that in a change to previous galas (namely last spring's) there won't be an extra charge for the Autocoaches. Not sure of the exact reasoning but I think it's a good move, especially as there's two of them so it would be harder for people to avoid them if there was a charge.

Presumably because, as the auto's are to be on the railway for the whole year, the cost of movement can be regained over their various engagements rather than having to break even over a single weekend's use.

They are only running Bn - HL though, so presumably it's to attract people to that end of the line.

I think confusion has arrisen because there are two auto coaches working to different diagrams. The auto coaches do traverse the whole line but not as a single service and include ECS working. The header "A" may have been missed off the public leaflet. Both 1450 and 6435 are auto fitted.

I took it as some of the trains these Tanks haul are autotrains and some are not. Or are only their DH trips in the evening regular stock?

How come the last train leaves Bridgenorth Fri Night 2055, yet the pub closes 2300 and your advising people to park at Kidder?

Would like to be on the DH that arrives 2209, but if I was to park at Kidder there no chance of me getting this service.

Last year idea I thought was quite good, as the final northbound service departed after the final southbound service had arrived. How come its changed this yr?

The WTT takes some readinggiven loco and stock swaps but you do apear to be correct, usual caveats, the DH do appear to be normal stock.

As to your other query I have no idea - I just work as rostered

Any idea if 4566 is being paired with appropriate stock?

4566 is paired with 6 BR Mk1s in Blood and Custard livery for the weekend.

I had completely forgotten it was emerging for the gala in BR black with early emblem, there is a photo on facebook so it will be paired with apropriate stock.

Could somebody post the WTT please? SVR Live had one last year but no sign of it yet and it is not like the railway are selling them.

Is there a reason why SVR working members are not releasing the full WTT?

For the simple reason, despite what happened last year, its marked "Private and not for publication". It is IMHO not the place for an ordinary working member to ignore such a statement. I do however appreciate that the information in the public timetable may not be sufficient for some visitors.

I spent the day at the SVR on Saturday, having booked a place on the last photographer's PTS 'course' (another story) before next weekend's gala. As I intend to fully utilise my new lineside photographer's pass next weekend, I am certainly in that category of visitors for whom the information published in the public timetable is not sufficient. In fact, I think that it could be argued that lineside photographers should have access to the WTT for their own safety.
I fervently hope that, as they're not being sold, a copy of the gala WTT will appear on SVRLive before Friday - but as the loco allocation section on the TNs and WTTs page still hasn't been updated for 15th and 16th March, I may be hoping in vain!
As the gala timetable leaflet doesn't mention which way each locomotive will be facing, of the rostered gala locomotives that I saw on Saturday, 7812 and 6435 are currently facing north, with 2857, 1638, 1450, 4566 and 4936 all currently facing south. This may change in the next few days!
For those who may be interested, my photos from Saturday are available on my Zenfolio site at http://mickrogers.zenfolio.com/p93474991
    Cheers,
