I am going up to the NYM for the Esk Valley run, and then as i was up north I was going to cut over to the peak district for the Brit on Sunday (having got it in various parts south on that route) However, now I know its Braunton, I am going to go much further south, Manton Bank I guess. Gets me a new shot/sound and get home earlier.

Well there's at least three foot crossings and one overbridge on the climb to Oakham. Planned to go to second crossing just after the footbridge. Might see you there then.

Ok. Matlock 'Spoons had been lined up for a couple of beers and a cheap lunch but I'll see what else I can find.

A remarkably indirect route! It's surprising that a set of paths could be found that way, including a long distance on the ECML, and not via the MML and Dudding Hill.

Maybe they're in no hurry to get there........................................

And something tells me they'll be making a pit stop a Southall to pick up No.7 - which would make sense!

If No.7 does join in, I might just have to go out and see this!:)

In other news................ 34046 is currently facing the wrong way for Saturdays trip - yet there's nothing in system (yet) that she's going to use the Greenford triangle to turn, unless they've already done it!

Think they will haul the coaches tender first out of Hanwell Bridge loop, and do a run round in Willesdon sidings. Also looks like they will dump the 47 in Southall

No answer it seems. Looks like I'll have to wander up there and find you what it is on the day.

    Jeff, personally, I wouldn't bother....

Dave got caught out yesterday by a movement that popped up on RTT, he went out thinking it could possibly be Braunton - it truned out to be a West Coast box, needless to say I don't think he was too pleased!

Oh well me mate Dave's going to be a tad disappointed then, he dismissed it as an ECS move!

I was going, Because I know the difference between a standard Carnforth / Southall movement and something else - BUT something else important cropped up -
    Bugger!

Oh no, not you as well Jeff!!

I think its the fact that the Greenford triangle wasn't used that's lead to some confusion(?)......................................

Just wait till I tell Dave later! He's going to kick himself...........................
