Thanks to Martin Creese for organising an excellent day at the GWSR with BR(W) Manor class 4-6-0 no. 7820 Dinmore Manor and a rake of goods vehicles.

A gallery of my photographs from the day are now online at my Zenfolio website here: - http://mickrogers.zenfolio.com/p881904642

Many thanks to Mick and everyone who supported the two days of events . The weather wasn't kind but after an almost six year hiatus it was really good to bring charters back to the GWSR . Special thanks to everyone involved on the GWSR as well as Dinmore Manor Locomotive Limited and we were very chuffed (excuse the terrible pun" to provide the first revenue earning turns for 7820

Great photos - Dinmore Manor looks superb - can't wait to see her for myself! I especially liked your panned shot Mick- very good.

Some interesting photos from the others who have posted in this thread. It is constantly surprising that people on the same charter can come up with so many different interpretations of more or less the same thing.

And some more. Here are my videos and photos I took whilst on the photo charter with 7820 Dinmore Manor on the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway. No brilliant photography here (I left that to the experts), I just went to enjoy the day out.

The first video is from the line side:

The second video is from the guards van whilst traveling on the line.

It’s in two parts. The first whilst Dinmore Manor is coupled next to the van, the second whilst the van is at the back of the train.

Some photos can be seen here:
