How come 60007 managed on it's own then?

I think there must of been a speed restriction through Tilehurst, there's a lot of work going on there & a load of N/R bods around.
As you can see from my video it opens up & accelerates massively once past the platform.
See G&S Station is like Tilehurst now, more fencing than a prison camp including the main line platforms. Also those rubber upturned pyramid things on the ramps.

That's what I was wondering. Will be interesting to see if the 56 is on the front for the move from Didcot.

In which case where's the 56 off to? Can't see Didcot wanting to keep it.

60163 was a DCR move, whereas 60007 was WCRC. DCR have dragged 60163 in the past, so I wonder if it's a lack of available steam drivers.

Good point. And that brings me to 60163's anagram, 61306. I believe the owner has thrown in his lot with DCR to take her main line but since her loaded test run she's not worked a tour.

The thing on the front of Tornado is the new safety equipment box for steam loco's during the Summer Months. It's called a N.E.P.F.T.S.L. (No Effort Permitted From The Steam Locomotive).;)

That's NOT quite what I said!!.............................................................. OH, FUDGE was more like it.... ;) still if you're going to get bowled, you might as well do it in style...
IF SNG had been running to time (she was one down) it wouldn't have happened.............................. it "almost" happened with 60163.......... if they had maintained running a few minutes late, then and aggregate train would have got in the way......................................:(
