Really good to see the Tyseley star (small s) risen again. I liked the way the blackbird (?) hopped onto the post to view the train, then turned its back, then flew off before the Earl arrived. Can't be a GWR fan!

So Ben, what does the headboard mean?

Peter on a grey Manchester morning, delighted that Dawlish is open again for the Plymouth run

Just a little bit of wit. The train was billed as "The Great Spaghetti Western". Think films. Then a particularly famous (though not spaghetti western) film "The Italian Job".

Oh dear, you have got that wrong.

The blackbird got it's approach shot. Then realised it had set the sound control of it's tape recorder on manual so jumped down to put it on auto to avoid the loud noise spoiling the recording.
