    They should of really given it a test run, as it's been over six months since it was put though it's paces !

    Just seen elsewhere that it was a hot box on the tender. Only passing on what I have seen so cannot vouch for it.

    Regardless of the failure, the loco should of still had a run out prior to today's lengthy trip. Bet you the 8F get's a run out before it's trip up the coast.
