Check RTT and you will see otherwise for most of Day 3, I think.

    Fair enough!

You kinda assume that a single 5 + large load normally = box on the back!!

And if as you suggest elsewhere, that the box is following in a path behind just in case, then those on board are going to get some sound track! :)

Well done to those who planned this, for not having the box hanging on the back all day......... if its true of course........

The above was about 60009 passing through Carlisle last Thursday 24 April.

This link on WNXX shows it clearly entering the station (front and rear three-quarter views). It needs someone who knows the Carlisle layout better than me to discern which track it is on:
    http://www.wnxx.com/14/1404/250414/60009.htm

At the time of the Bittern ban, it was stated that none of the tracks through the station could be used, because the main middle road actually joins the platform road at the north end.

But clearly 60009 is headed into the station, and is not on any of the avoiding lines to the west of the platforms.

Could this mean real progress on the A4 ban at Carlisle?

Peter, on a grey Monday morning in Manchester

If you look at the satellite view, the avoiding lines to the west diverge after the line has entered the platform, the centre road that No 9 is on, joins the platform line at the north end of the station before going under the bridge.

    Dunno Jeff!

Is 5029 due to move the TYS?............................ And for what? (excuse my ignorance!) considering the move from Bristol to Southall on Monday was cancelled.

Well its next tour is from Tyseley, its from Southall LS not Southall WCR, and I can't think of anything else that needs to move there. Its a guess - thats why it has a ? at the end of it.
