Due to an unforseen problem the WCR stock will not run on SVR. The RTC tour will still comence from Bridgnorth using SVR stock and power to Kidderminster. In the evening SVR will provide stock and power to return patrons to Bewdley and Bridgnorth. This information has been sent to ticket holders

Didn't RTC use the WCR stock on the Blue Bell Explorer from Bridgnorth ?

I can see now my wording can be misinterpreted. What I mean is will not be available to run on SVR. It will be available for the tour.

Curious what the issue is that prevents WCRC from going to Bridgnorth, given it's MK1's shoulden't be all that different to SVR internal MK1's.

It is unlikely to be purely physical as only last Thursday Kinlett Hall & POB used the link. Speculation would be fruitless. Will need to see what pans out.

The latest update to the itinerary should save a light engine diesel move to Bristol as there is no need to run top 'n tail from Bristol - Kidderminster. <BJ>

Purely speculation. But the LE diesel move will still be necessary for the return from Bristol - Kidderminster. I assume the stock will still arrive onto the SVR and stable in the main/ exchange overnight with 34067 coming into the yard to turn and take up residence somewhere in Kidderminster station

The ECS move from Southall due 9.25 apears not to have left yet. I dont know how many sets there are at Southall but one did not arrive back from Kings Cross until 0008. This would not leave time to clean for a 9.25 departure if cleaners were on days

That was a Steam Dreams trip though so a different set of coaches. There'll be a new path for the stock later today.
