Yes that includes the short link between WCML and CLC, that I think has not seen steam hauled passengers for a long time.

Yes, I cannot recall this section of track ever seeing steam in preservation.

Interesting choice of date, TPE are running extra loco hauled trains between Liverpool and Scarborough that day to cover for the expected large crowds to see the start of the Tour de France in Leeds that day.

First loco hauled off Lime street at 06-22 into Scarborough 09-27 compared with over 6 hours with steam, and they can run via Warrington Central and Piccadilly.

Im not annoyed or anything but the change of time in the morning to 0553 departure is I think a little bit too early.

I was already a tiny bit disappointed it changed from the advertised locos. It was originally 6201 or royal scot which we know isnt ready but id have loved the lizzie, or6233 and 70013 which were then advertised. Nothing against the A4 just always liked LMS and standard locos.

As I say, it looks worse in print what im saying, Im determined to to have a great day with a gang of 4 of us.

Any info on UOSA ? Hopefully it will be fit. Or could 70013 replace the A4.

Missed that one, Cheers. Loco availability looks a bit short. Maybe WCR could send down Galatea or the Scot. Hopefully none of this is necessary, and the A4 is fixed.
