Waverley 2014

This doesn't make sense. According to UK Steam, this is due to the "steam ban in LNE and E Midlands". Since when did that extend to Hellifield - Carlisle?

 

Look at the "Provisional Times"

 

There must be something in it as there is no path on realtime for the 8f to Hellifield on Sunday .

 

pleasant seeing that Galatea was at the head of the train today.

 

Footage 0f 5699 at Clapham, Hellifield and a windy Horton/Selside.

 

Did Galatea return from Hellifield to Carnforth in the evening? I still couldn't see a path on RTT. UK Steam ended up saying steam to York question mark.

What was going on at Hellifield? We see the loco reverse round the curve towards Gisburn and come back on the platform road, apparently running round the support coach as expected. But then the next clip shows it once again with its chimney towards the support coach.

 

Nothing sinister just bad editing on my part !
