Well, I had a quick shufty Saturday morning - didn't go down the headshunt, didn't fancy getting flattened by Wadebridge & her train!:eek:

Any way, this little lot were in the headshunt - taken from the yard.

Anyone know when the timetable for Saturday (The Open Day) will be put on the website?
    Four trains in operation (2 x steam service, Thumper & Freight/Goods) with 850, 925 & 34007 rostered (34007 on the freight I guess).

Isn't 92212 coming back this week. It's a bit odd the MHR haven't put a time table on the web site yet for this coming weekend.

Well, as the 9F isn't rostered for this weekend, who knows...........

As for the website, it seems to have gone backwards this week with lack of blogs/updates......... and the timetable should be the same as last year?........................... anyway. it doesn't bother me as I'll most likely be up at the Valley........

Thanks for that. I had just found it on the MHR site just before you posted the link. Diesel rostered for the freight train. One of the steam loco's unfit?
Should be a good day. Looking forward to it as I missed it last year due to other commitments.

    No probs!

Back to the spirit of this thread......... I would suggest to people. if you get the chance have a look at the new shelter on the up platform at Ropley - its a big old lump - and put together under the guidance of a time served craftsman!

I'm surprised it moved..... thought it was beginning to grow roots........

Place is starting to feel a tad empty - four kettles & one diseasel gone - I wonder if there's anything in the pipeline to come in?........

it does seem strange though that given the potensial of the std 5, that a home has not been forthcoming , or if it has whats causing the delay in her moving away?

MHR company and society AGMs happen on Saturday. Maybe there's news on the way? Then again...

In That picture above, is it 73096 there outside up the HS or something else ?

Everytime I saw 73096 since it left traffic it seemed to be enjoying protective custody inside the shed
