34046 is only hauling the ECS (with diesel on the rear) a short distance at Southall before the formation reverses and the diesel hauls the ECS with 34046 in steam on the rear down to Alton. That is how it looks on UkSteam info. site.
After Alton I guess 34046 will come off the ECS at Ropley to be prepped and stabled in the yard/station before tommorrow.

Yep, skip at the front, Braunton at the back end peddling as fast as it can.

Well they have taken the whole train plus 34046 straight to Alresford as there are some pictures on the MHR FB page. Can't see what the diesel is though.

    You are technically correct.

It was a class 47 but looked like it had been in a skip.

And here is Brauntons move. According to RTT was supposed to do a reversal at Wilsdon SWS. Given that I went to Hanwell to see if it was on the front, but it was on the back, and still on the back after the reversal. Don't know how that works!

5Z67 has been activated, confirmed by a mate that it is 34067, returning to Carnforth today.

Just general repairs, seen a pic of 45699 and 46115 both in steam at Carnforth this morning. I was told that 34067 is expected to return to London later in the week and do the Easterling trip.

A mate was told by another gentlemen at Bletchley yesterday that there's supposed to be a private steam charter running today from London Victoria up the East Coast Main Line, presumably to York. Loco is unknown. Can't find any on RTT or any steam movements into Victoria. Anyone heard of this mysterious charter?

There was a move Crewe to Steamtown in the early hours of this morning. Anyone confirm the details?
