I did think the original question did regard in ticket locos- that must narrow it down to a handful?

Yes - a bit of licence being used there. Was looking to exclude stuff that had never really moved. Anyway anything at Ropley (now) is probably destined to be in action at some point.

Well I suppose in the same vein that all LMS 4-6-0s or LNER Pacifics are the same classes, then you are spot on :)

    Blasphemy...

A Donkey with a saddle is a Donkey with a saddle.. but a Black 5 will never be a Jubilee... even if they paint it the same colour. :)

Saddles? I thought we were talking Pannier tanks :)
It's just as well they did make a habit of painting 5p5Fs and 5XPs different colours ... :D

Harz 99 7231 to 99 7247. And none of them are sectioned or reduced to a set of bare frames either. I think that beats your offering!

Still waiting for an event with the same loco number being rostered on different trains.
Be a while now for 1638 and 1638.
Unlikely to see 73129 with 73129 with the MRC version coming to the end of it's boiler certificate.
ELR missed a trick when 1501 visited not to put 1501 on the diesel diagram too.
