Actually yes thinking about it you are right but the point stands it’s definitely not the norm to be a volunteer without being a member.

Perhaps you could expand on why this is a bit more as other places taking advantage of gift aid seem to be able to do it - for example the NYMR who are a big advocate of gift aid offer a 50% discount to their members?
