Er…. that’s the case with the 12 month version but not the one currently being employed by the NYMR. I believe @35B s suggestion was to keep the Gift aided fare at the previous £49.50 and make the non-Gift aided fare appropriately less (10%)...

Then how does it work for the National Trust and English Heritage, etc? [ATTACH] With some attractions they also have separate prices, both with and without donation, if you want to visit the whole site or just part of it. [ATTACH] I...

In which case I was imagining the fares table on https://www.nymr.co.uk/pages/category/book-tickets, which lists separate Donation and Standard fares - and where my reference to non-donation was to what is described as "Standard" online. That's...

OK we have a one day subjective survey taken yesterday on the GWSR and the near daily observations of Southernman99. The point is not which is cheaper to run (all heritage workings would be by DMU if that was the sole consideration) but which...

Any suggestion of sunshine around Stratford this afternoon proved to be wishful thinking. The mid-day run to Snow Hill at an amazingly empty Wilmcote. [ATTACH] and the return to Derby at an equally deserted Danzey. [ATTACH]

Agreed , but that assumes the one stop and two stop fares would stay at their current levels. As 21B has suggested chasing passenger numbers is not necessarily the answer. The optimal financial result may be achieved by carrying fewer passengers...

Well, can we take as a given that the objective is to increase ticket revenue? Currently the fare is a standard £49.50 return for both Pickering -Grosmont and Pickering -Whitby with Gift Aid generating an additional 25%. If the train is running...
