55010 nameplate

    Any idea as to how 55010 came to lose its nameplate - a sideswipe or was it stolen as it was so close to its end?

    I've seen a suggestion that someone tried to nick one/them, and they were then removed. I'd guess if someone tried to force it off they may have damaged the mountings or the bodyside.
