7820 Footplate Ride

    I was the fortunate winner of a footplate ride on 7820 'Dinmore Manor' at the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway and recently had my ride. I photographed my experience with the intention of trying to show what life is like on the footplate on a Manor on a preserved railway. My thanks are due to Dinmore Manor Locomotive Limited and the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for making it possible and a special thanks to the footplate crew of Jeff and Derek.
