Does anyone know if any tours to these events in 2010 are being run from Britain?

Haven't heard of anything but try Warwickshire Travel as they did one to the last event ( i was in the same hotel....). http://www.internationalsteam.co.uk/tours/warks00.htm

If not would be very easy to organise on your own with cheap flights fo Frankfurt Hann or Eurostar etc to Koln. I was going to go but will now use my pass for the Feb plandampf.

    Regards,

Railtrail are currently organising one - see www.railtrail.co.uk - and have 90 interested enthusiasts looking to go so far. Current info is that departure will be from London on April 1 return on April 7 but hotel arrangements and the best program to get maximum sighting of the 300 special trains being organised within the Trier / Koblenz / Gerolstein circuit are still being arranged.

Thanks, chaps, for that. Best to move quickly before all hotels, B&Bs, youth hostels, station benches and platelayers' huts in the area are booked up.
