Ok thanks. I will wait for loco allocations before booking as I would like to choose my loco and avoid having the same one all morning again

surprised the brake van has a vacuum pipe attached. thought the SDRT wagon collection was loose coupled only. happy to have been corrected.

By my reckoning, 5 - QM, Pillbox, BR, Toad, and this one (plus an SECR dancehall, but that's awaiting restoration). There's also a Van 'C' which can also be used as either a goods or passenger brake if needed.

The vac pipe doesn’t preclude using on unfitted trains though. I believe that LSWR road vans were originally made in both fitted and unfitted versions.

Add me to the "curious about the roster" list. Have an unexpected two days off and thinking of popping along this weekend for mu first steam trip since The Jacobite in September last year!

Yes it would be good to know the loco allocations and to see the timetables

I messaged the watercress line on Facebook. "It will be 76017 from Alton and 506 from Alresford." this weekend.

Make that 2 Pillboxes. I got 1 from ROF Puriton way back when (Mike Lawrence did the move, if that dates it), and the Urie society followed suit. Which one is which? - kinsavvy?

I miscounted. 10 brake vans including the BYs....I suspect that might be "enough"?
