    No I do not currently volunteer
    someone told me that a while back the orient express had been taken out of service for good, yesterday i saw the carriges being pulled by an ews 66 class diesel, does anyone know if it has been reinstated?

    I think we'd have heard if it had been withdrawn for good!

    I think it would be of a lot more interest if they decided to reduce their reserve collection in size.

    If by Orient Express you mean British Pullman then nothing has changed except a name. The term Orient Express is used (and it's been like that for some time) only for the France to Venice train. In the UK you have the Northern Belle, Royal Scotsman, British Pullman (with steam/Clan Line on specific trips) and in 2016 there will be the Grand Hibernian in Ireland. All of these are part of the Belmond trains, hotels and river cruises package.
