Another early start for the SVR gala on Saturday, some decent Sun early on but a rather overcast afternoon. Was an interesting day out with some good locations but i felt rather underwhelmed by quite a lot of tender first running. Anyway a few select pictures from the day at

Thanks although i have to say I am getting increasingly annoyed with fotopic over the quality of the pictures when uploaded. The panned shot of 60007 is the perfect example of how something with perfect clarity can become destorted and ends up looking blurred.

Well, half the time they run smokebox first, and half the time they run tender first.

Don't worry, it'll come back facing the other way in a bit!

I have noticed that too - the photos of Clan line I took on Saturday look reasonable on my pc and very dark on fotopic.

Likewise, i have never really been impressed by the quality of images when uploaded to fotopic. However if an image has the option to view full size, click the full size button, then add &quality=100 to the end of the URL and you will get a far crisper clearer image. It doesn't fix the horrid quality of normal size pictures, or ones that don't have the full size option, but at least it's something!

    Hi Chris,
Nice images from SVR on Sat!! I went on Fri and was lucky with the weather! It stayed sunny for most up till about 4pm. I'm too am having problems with fotopic. It can't seem to handle low light images. It just blacks out the detail in the dark areas! Must be the way it compresses the file. Not impressed!

Thank you all for your kind words. Short of making my own website and hosting a rather large amount of web space.
