    I don't remember seeing it, but definitely someone on the wind up!

    I'm afraid troughs are a part of our railway heritage that are long gone, unless some fairy godmother is prepared to pay for something that will bring in zero commercial return. Most of the "fairygodmothers" that I've come across are far too shrewd to do that!

    No I do not currently volunteer
    no that water trough is going to happen at Levisham, they are installing locks to over come the gradient.
