Rather than start a whole lot of speculation I thought it better to tell you about the Surry Hills here. The situation is simply that Belmond want a longer run. So far nothing has been agreed so there may well be more Surrey Hills, although the next one in June may go to Canterbury. Clan Line has certainly not lost any Belmond work.
Please keep this confidential for the time being.

Yes, it was good to meet you in Redhill yesterday evening. I too took a video and left it running after it had passed as the sound of the engine climbing continued for a couple of minutes afterwards. Fortunately, those nearby kept quiet. I hope our paths cross again soon, with best wishes Des Shepherd
