34046 Braunton

Nope me Aswell booked on Yuletide borderer 24th November although I won't be too disappointed if Britannia turns up how great it would be if it was 34046 anyone any news of braunton to wet the appetite.

Thanks for this post 34046 doesn't look like its gonna be ready any time soon.

 

Looks like Riley's had plenty to do other than the initial stuff.

 

According to a post by IR on The Works, it may not be that long before testing. It is due to be re-wheeled on Thursday.

 

Ian Riley has said that she is back on her wheels, sound like real progress is being made.

Presumably the photo has moved so the link is broken.

 

The photo is still in the same place. I believe something in the URL has now changed. However non members can't view the photo because it was uploaded to the forum.

It's lined brunswick green. Why?!

 

Sometime in the mid-1990s the Strathspey had a lined green Mk.1 in the trainset. It was an experiment to see if green weathered better than maroon. It didn't, and looked pretty awful!

 

Presumably because someone paid for it.

 

Each to their own, I suppose.
