    Yes I am an active volunteer
    I had a couple of fun days almost two years ago surveying this vehicle, to establish it's identity and which parts dated from being built, it's rebuild from a clerestory roofed carriage and later eras of it's life. I was very pleased to meet all these objectives and also managed to successfully predict the presence of some asbestos which the survey for that hadn't spotted due to being behind steel sheeting.

    It's a shame the budget didn't stretch to repanelling the coach with appropriate mouldings on the exterior but I'm sure it will achieve the objectives of the exhibition non the less.

    I hope to get a look at the finished product soon when I visit to take some measurements off the blue spot fish van.
