Is it still possible to purchase disused vacuum braked ballast wagons from the national network or railway scrap yards?

Have any preserved railways purchased any recently?:spy:

Those YGB Bogie Ballast Wagons have been showing for some time so not sure how many (if any) are left. If my senior memory still works the "B" in "YGB" indicates Air Brake vehicle with through Vacuum pipe whereas 50044 Exeter was after vacuum braked wagons.
So far as I'm aware there are some dual brake fitted bogie ballast wagons still in use - there were three, I think, in the ballast train consist which came to the Swanage Railway earlier in the year. However, although the cylinders might still be present and (apparently) connected I suspect the vacuum may no longer work as DBSchenker is unlikely to maintain anything other than the air brakes.

Seacows / Sealions / Whales are likely to be coming up regularly now due to increased use of Autoballaster trains.
But these are likely to be fairly worn with door gear being very hard to open if at all.
They used to be Vac fitted but may have had the gear removed. May be possible to refit.
