Departmental Mk1's

I've noticed on a couple of videos and photos that the GCR seem to have acquired several yellow departmental Mk1's - anyone know what these were used for and what's to happen to them? Much thanks to anyone who can help.

Although I am unaware as to where they are from, there are 4 coaches, I was told the GCR intended on orininally purchasing just the bogies but had to take the whole vehicles in order the get them off their previous site. The idea was to scrap the bodies and have the bogies off all four vehicles but since their arrival i believe 3 of the four have been hijacked in a good way by provate owners or for use elsewhere, one owner I believe has been swapped BCK 21031 with the company for one these and the railway will scrap that instead. Another may be lined up for use with the 76 tonne Crane..
I cant say the above is accurate or indeed correct because its only as I was told.

If its correct, its a shame to scrap 21031 because although the body has much corrosion from years out of service stored on the Battlefied line, Its how they all go. however essentially its a complete coach that just needs refurbishment like all the others will gradually.
So to scrap it as another quick fix for a slightly better one bodywise but with little interior intact is short sighted in my opinion.:confused1:
