February 1978 (Part 3)

February’s photographic effort thirty three years ago continues on a freezing night at Kings Cross before a quick warm through on the tube to Waterloo for another couple of night shots. Its then “overnight” on the Waterloo – Southampton passenger/newspaper/parcels train behind 73137 arriving at a very cold and icy Eastleigh in the early morning. Feedback and comments welcome.

February 1978 (Part 4)

February’s photographic effort thirty three years ago continues on a freezing night at Eastleigh before an early morning “bunk round” Eastleigh MPD. This was one of the few successful attempts at getting around Eastleigh MPD no doubt due to the early morning and the light covering of snow keeping the shed staff out of the way. February’s photographic effort thirty four years ago continues with an early morning “bunk round” Eastleigh MPD with a light covering of snow keeping the shed staff out of the way. Following a “thaw out” on the train back to London it’s a trip out to Finsbury Park to brave the freezing weather for a few shots of East Coast traffic. Feedback and comments welcome.
